To Ten Million Fireflies

[Fox]

He watched the bargining ensue between the two. He found it highly intresting.

[Momo]

She bought the carrots for five under the orgional price and motioned him to follow before the man decied to change his mine after she'd paid. "See, if you do it right you can get things for way cheap." She said.

[Fox]

He nodded with a smile. Though this bargaining thing was new to him, all of it was very intresting. "Do you need anything else?" He asked, his childish excitment shining through.

[Momo]

She smiled. "Yeah...those are down here though." She said, leading the way. She liked how excited he seemed about all of this.

[Fox]

He followed closely, looking every witch way. He loved how the market smelled, looked, and sounded like. He paused in walking to watch someone bargining. When he looked up though, he couldn't see Maria.

[Momo]

Maria didn't notice he was gone until she couldn't see him anymore. She stopped and looked around, frowning. 'Oh great...' she thought, turning in a circle. She turned back to retrace her steps, looking around for him.

[Fox]

He looked around, almost frantic likely. He looked one direction and steped in another, bumping into a gruff looking man.
"Hey, watch it." The man snaped at Hotaru, moving his arm to push the lost boy aside.
He cringed lightly, the man's bad attitude effecting him in hidden ways. "S.. Sorry, sir." He turned, a disappointed, almost sad look on his face. He wondered where Maria wass

[Momo]

Maria spotted Hotaru and tried to catch his attention but right before she reached him a man stepped into her path. "Maria." He said. Maria stopped dead her blood running cold and her expression turning to one of pain and anger. "What do you want Markus?" She asked. "I just wanted to say hi...are you still upset about the whole Emily thing?" He asked. "Don't say her name...you arn't even worthy to say her name..." She said.

[Fox]

Hotaru looked in MAria's direction, but she was blocked by the man. He felt slight pain as he caught hold of Maria's dark emotions. He moved around the crowd, coming up beside the two. "Maria..?" He asked, shivering lightly. He placed one arm over his chest, his hand clutching at the other arm. He bit his lip, the bad emotions swelling up.

[Momo]

Maria was glaring at the man. "Get lost." she said. "You still arn't upset over her death are you? It's been forever now." He said. "I said get lost!" She could feel tears as she reached for Hotaru's hand and moved to go around the man.

[Fox]

He shot a glance at Maria, taking her hand, before looking at the man with displeasure. He took charge, pain writhing through him from Maria's sorrow, and lead the poor girl away.

[Momo]

Maria let him lead her, feeling a few tears run down her cheek and that aching emptyness that emily's death had left behind. She clutched at Hotarus hand as it were the only thing keeping her sane.

[Fox]

He wraped his free arm around himself, wincing in pain. After a while of walking he stops; they're now at the edge of town where the trees begin to spring forth. He turned to face Maria, practically throwing his arms around her. "Don't cry, please."

[Momo]

She blinked in suprise as he did this, sniffing a little. She curled into his chest and tried to stop crying.

[Fox]

His heart is beating incrediablly fast as they stand there, his arms around her. "Maria.." He cringed lightly, the pain starting to go away. "Please.. Don't cry, anymore."
