Music and Freedom

[Momo]

She smiled a little, nodding. She understood english, she jsut couldn't speak it very welll. "I'd...like." She commented, nodding again.

[Fox]

He smiled, and then looked around the clearing for a good place to sit down. He shifted when he spoted a nice willow. He looked back at her, pleasently. "Would you like to sit over there?" He asked, pointing at the willow tree.

[Momo]

Her smile grew huge and she nodded, dancing over on tip toes to the willow tree. She hugged the tree and pressed her face against it, closing her eyes. She was careful not to let the trees thoughts invade her mind, she didn't want to scare the human by changing or doing anything he might consider odd. She broke away and ploped down in a cris cross fashion.

[Fox]

He chuckled lightly, half wondering why she had hugged the tree. He walked over to her, smiling. He pated the tree a couple times lightly, showing his respect, as if not doing so would upset Eco. He then took a seat next to her carefully, setting the book down in front of him. "It's a nice tree, ja?" He asked her.

[Momo]

She smiled both in delight and amusment as he patted the tree. She knew he had no clue what he was doing but it made her happy that he seemed to understand that the tree was something speical to her. She looked up at the tree and then back down at him and nodded. "Yes." She said.

[Fox]

He smiled some more before opening the book. "Shall we get started then?" He asked.

[Momo]

She nodded and slide a little closer so she could see the book. She frowned at all the words that she didn't understand.

[Fox]

"Let's start with simple words that you don't already know..." He looked at her and tried to decipher her entire vocabulary. "Like earlier. When you said, 'I'd like.'" He began speaking again. "You should add the word 'that' to the end. So it would be 'I'd like that.'" He smiled at her to see if she understood that.

((YAY FOR ME SUCKING AT ENGLISH!!!!))

[Momo]

"That?" She said the word pretty easily, smiling a little. "I'd like...that." She paused inbetween like and that to make sure she was putting the right word in the right place. She looked up at him to see if that was correct.

((YAY!!!))

[Fox]

He smiled at her. "Good." Time moved slowly as the lesson dragged on. After a whil he pulled his cellular device out of his pocket and checked the time. It read midnight. He grimiaced a little, yawning unesecarily.

[Momo]

She tilted her head and glanced around. "Go...Home." She said, nodding a little. She hadn't learned much, just simple terms. "Sleep." she pointed to herself and then at him, indicating that they both needed sleep. She moved to gently get to her feet and strech her arms above her head. Her wings fluttered behind her and she smiled in content.

[Fox]

He smiled up at her, thinking that maybe she wasn't real. He sighed to himself before standing up. "Alright. Sleep would be good." He nodded, mostly to himself.

[Momo]

She patted the willow. "Goodnight my friend." she said in her own language, smiling up at the tree before turning back to him. "Goodnight." She said, nodding as she got the word right. She stepped away, watching him with her black eyes.

[Fox]

He wondered slightly what she had said to the tree. "Oh. Before I leave." He pulled out a slip of paper and handed it to her. On it, his street address was written. "If you ever need me for anything just go here." He half wondered if she'd be able to understand what an address was. "And the book. I'll let you keep it... And unless you need anything... I'll see you tomarrow night?" He asked with a small smile.

[Momo]

She took the paper and stared at it, tilitng her head. She nodded and tucked it away before listening to what else he was saying. SHe nodded again and smiled. "Yes." She said, confirming his question on the next night.
