Music and Freedom

[Fox]

He smiled before turning to leave. "Goodnight." He called back.

[Momo]

It was the next night and she was wandering around in the same area. She soon stopped at the willow tree they had sat under yesterday. She reached out and touched the bark, whispering words. It wasn't long before she'd changed, her skin was a darker color, like wood. Her eyes were all pupil now, black and depthless. Her hair was longer, taking a sheen to it. She smiled and closed her eyes, listening to the whispered talk of the trees.

[Fox]

The jingle of Sonata's bell inturupted the tranquilty of the area. He pawed on over to what smelt like Eco, but didn't look like her. He mewed up at her, questioningly.

"Sonata? Where have you gotten to now?" Justus stumbled about slowly, not wanting to trip over any tree roots in the dark. It wasn't long before he entered the clearing after his tabby kitten.

[Momo]

Eco pulled back slightly from the tree to look down at Sonata. She smiled lightly, her hands still resting on the bark. She gasped quietly when she heard Justus's voice, but it didn't give her enough time to change back. She was just pulling her hands away from the tree when he stumbled into the clearing.

[Fox]

He blinked at the strange creature before him, sure that it was Eco. "Eco..?" He questioned.

Sonata mew lightly again, purring and kneeding the grass near Eco's feet.

[Momo]

The change back to her human form was painful and quick. A wall was smalled between her and the open senses she had when connected to the tree. She grimiced and opened her eyes to look toward him. "Hi..." She mumbled, blinking a few times. Her skin was back to the normal creamy pale and her hair the black like it was in human form.

[Fox]

He carefully walked over her, more concerned on wether she was okay, rather than was she really human? "Eco.. Are you alright?" He asked stopping in front of her.

[Momo]

"Fine." She said, shaking her head. "Change is...painful." She muttered, testing out some of her new words. Her english still wasn't good...but she could use alot more words now. She shifted on her feet and looked up at his face, smiling a little.

[Fox]

He smiled at her, patting her head and ruffling her hair. "It depends on what kind of change." He carefully took a seat next to the willow. "Eco." He looked at her carefully. "You're not... Human. Are you?"

[Momo]

She shifted as he asked that question, her wings fluttering a little on her back. She reached out to touch the tree and shook her head. "No." was all she said, watching him.

[Fox]

He nodded. "I see." He frowned a little. He look at her for a moment, thinking. He looked at the tree then back at her. "Let me take you to my home." He said after a moment.

[Momo]

She shifted and looked suprised as he said that. "I...Shouldn't." She said, shaking her head a little. She bit her lip her eyes wide as she stared at him.

[Fox]

He frowned a little at her reply. "Come on. I promise I won't do anything." He made a small pouty face.

[Momo]

"Trouble...if caught." She frowned again. She pointed at him and then drew her finger along her neck, unsure of what word she should use in his language.

[Fox]

He looked puzzled for a moment. "..Death..?" He asked after a moment of interperating her sign language.
