Music and Freedom

[Momo]

She nodded a little, remembering the word from her childhood when humans would wander to far into the forest and discover her kind. If they were caught now...it would mean death for him and a huge punishment for her. She bit her lip a little as she watched him, frowning.

[Fox]

He sighed, looking at his feet. After a moment he looked at her again. "I won't let anyone hurt you, or me." He spoke lightly, the grin on his face growing slightly.

[Momo]

She frowned again and shifted. "Okay..." She said, still seeming uncertain. She held up her finger. "One..." She said, meaning she was only going to do this once. There would be no protecting for him, he didn't understand what her kind could do.

[Fox]

He smiled, understanding what 'one' meant. He stood slowly before offering his hand.

Sonata was raceing around Eco's feet.

[Momo]

She hesitated a moment longer before taking his hand, looking down at the cat with a smile. She waited for him to lead the way, watching him.

[Fox]

He smiled, turning with her to move away from the tree. He moved quickly, hoping the speed could spare them if they were spotted.

Sonata quickly grabed hold of Justus' jeans and used them and his shirt to climb up to his master's shoulder.

[Momo]

Eco seemed alert and tense as she followed. She would tug him in a different direction every once in a while to avoid something unseen to him. She bit her lip as they walked, keeping alert.

[Fox]

The edge of the forest wasn't too far off by now. Every now and then, one could hear a passing car near the edge of town. Justus would look at Eco everytime she pulled him in a different direction. He started wondering if he could really get away with taking her out of the forest.

[Momo]

She still seemed on edge, looking around though suddenly she relaxed with a smile. They'd made it out of the fea territory, none of them ever came this close to the edge of the forest. Now she was nervous, she could hear the loud mechanical things that smelled bad and hear the talking of people. She pressed closer to Justus as they walked.

[Fox]

He looked at Eco, concerned. "Your wings.. Is there some way you can conceal them?" He asked, the thought crossing his mind and slipping out his mouth off of his tounge.

[Momo]

She'd forgotten all about her wings and now they fluttered nervously. She looked back at them before stepping away from him for a moment. She closed her eyes and her body shimmered. She was suddenly wearing normal human cloths and her eyes looked a little more human.

[Fox]

He blinked at her, tilting his head to one side in amazment. His mouth was slightly a gape.

Sonata jumped down from his master's shoulder and gave a small meow at Eco's transformation.

[Momo]

She smiled a little, unable to explain what she'd just done in his human forms. Glamour is what her people called it, it was like a sheild that fooled normal human eyes.

[Fox]

HE gave a small smile back. "Shall we continue, now then?" He asked, wonderment hidden somewhere in his voice.

[Momo]

She nodded and reached for his hand nervously. Even though she looked human she was still nervous about going into the place were humans lived.
