Music and Freedom

[Fox]

He smiled warmly, taking her hand in his. "It'll be alright." He spoke, in soft, sweet tones. "I promise." He began to lead her across the small freeway and into the town.

[Momo]

She flinched at the sound of the cars and the smells that made her head spin. She pressed closer, clutching at his hand.

[Fox]

He moved his hand away from hers, placing his entire arm around her in order to keep her close to him. He pressed her against his side tightly.

[Momo]

She wrapped her fingers into his shirt and let out a small whimper. "Don't...Like..." She mumbled, biting her lip.

[Fox]

"Shh, shh.." He tried to calm her with his voice. "We're almost there."

[Momo]

Her eyes darted around as they walked and his voice calmed her just a bit but not to much. She flinched and started whenever a car drove by and cringed from any large smell. "How long?" She murmured.

[Fox]

"Not very." He smiled turning up the stairs that lead to his home. "See?" He chuckled a little, unlocking and opening the door, allowing Eco to enter first.

[Momo]

She steered clear of the railings making a face at them. She headed into his house and let out a sigh, seeming to relax when she wasn't so out in the open.

[Fox]

He entered after her, closing and locking the door behind him. The entrance area opened up into the large living room, and dining room. There is a bar to the right of the door next to the hall way. At the other end of the living room there's a sit-in-window, and to the left the living room opens up into a den. Going down the hall way, the kitchen is to the right, with a closet to the left. Going further down, the bedroom lays on the left, with a large closet. At the end of the hall is the bathroom. Furniture is placed acordingly, with a piano in the den and sveral potted plants throughout the apartment.

[Momo]

She looked around, blinking at how big it was. She gasped suddenly as she caught sight of the window. "Oh!" She squealed, rushing over and pressing against the glass. "You can see the forest!" She said, speaking in her native tongue out of habit as she stared at the green waving trees in the distances.

[Fox]

He smiled a little, figuring she was talking about the forrest. Yes indeed, his window had a great view of the forrest. "Would you like something to drink, or eat?" He asked, making gestures as well.

[Momo]

She looked around for a moment seeming confused. She shook her head and smiled a little. "Sick..." was all she managed to come up with, unable to think of the other words that would explain why she couldn't. It was simple, the human food and drinks had stuff in it that would make Eco deathly ill, she'd seen Fae like herself, waste away from just taking a small sip of the human water.

[Fox]

He nodded, seeming to understand. He yawned lightly as he made his way over to the piano. He seated himself carefully.

[Momo]

She tilted her head, watching him. "What's that?" she asked, coming up behind him as he sat down and peeking over his shoulder.

[Fox]

"It's a piano." He spoke softly. "It makes beautiful words when you press the keys. Like this." He gently pressed the key for C sharp, then a group of keys forming the chord G before falling into playing Nocturne in C minor.
