She curled up in the bed and nodded. "Please." She said, pulling the covers up around her and closing her eyes. She tried to pretend she was in the forest, listening to the tree leaves move.

He nodded. Sonata jumped up on the bed and curled up next to her. He smiled at the cat before humming a lovely lullaby.

She reached a hand out to touch the cat, letting her body relax. As she slowly drifted off into sleep her skin changed to a soft green and wings fluttered under the blankets softly. She sighed contently in her sleep.

When he knew she was asleep, he stopped his tune. Her true form startle him, but only for a moment. He let his eyes examine her the best the could before he seated himself on the floor next to the edge of the bed. He slowly drifted into slumber.

Eco woke with a start a few hours later, sitting up and upsetting the cat that had been laying close to her legs. Her black eyes darted around the room, trying to remember where she was and how she'd gotten here. When her eyes landed on the boy beside the bed she relaxed, memories flooding back to her.

He shifted in his sleep, falling over onto his side with a thump. He let out a soft groan before his eyes fluttered open to the darkness.

Eco was used to seeing in the dark and had pretty good night vision, almost like it was day all the time. "Hi." She said quietly when she saw his eyes open. She looked around again and sighed. "I should...go." she said, shaking her head. "People....wonder where am." her english still wasn't good...but well enough to get her point across.

He stood slowly. "I'll take you back then." He nodded as if he understood. Maybe this is all a dream, and I have yet to wake from it. "It's dangerous at night, you know."

She smiled a little at his concern. "Not human." She pointed at herself as she slipped out of the bed, stretching kind of like a cat. She'd be fine walking by herself, at least once she got passed the city limits. She didn't trust herself to walk alone in the city with so much cold iron around.
