Her eyes shot toward him and if looks could kill he'd probably be dead. "I told you I didn't want your help." She pushed herself up, only managing a small wince on her face from her leg. She scanned the room, trying to find an exit as she edged as far away from him as possible, like a frightened animal.

Matt watched her. "Leave if you want." He pointed to the door. He seemed relaxed and calm, but his eyes told a completely different story a-lite with anger.

She edged toward the door but didn't quite leave yet. "Why'd you help me anyways?" She asked, frowning a little. She'd tried to hurt him, it hadn't done much good, but still...why'd he want to help her after that?

He glanced over at her before reverting his gaze upon a window. "Everybody deserves to be helped. You were injured." He shrugged.

She shifted again and narrowed her eyes a little. "Yeah...well helping people can get you killed." She said. "Espeically when you're out on the streets." She pointed out.

She snorted out a small laugh. "I wasn't in distress and i'm certainly not a damsel." She said, shaking her head. "I'm a girl, who's dirty, tired and hungry...who's been fighting to keep herself alive almost all her life. I can take care of myself." She told him.

He ignored the rest and noted the 'dirty, tired, hungry' part. "You can take a shower. I'll put something together for you to eat, then you can go back to bed." He shrugged nonchalantly before moving out of the bedroom, shutting the door behind him; probably going to the kitchen.

She scowled after him staying here she was for a moment before examining the room. "Well...at least the bathrooms off this room so I don't have to go wandering about..." She muttered, slowly pulling herself to her feet. She gasped and nearly crumpled under the weight of the pain from her leg. It was in a worse conditin then she'd thought and it took her a moment to regain herself. She managed to hobble to the bathroom, where she stripped her clothes off. Her pants took more dificulty since her leg hurt so bad. She stared down at the wound, it'd started to bleed again, despite the cleaning he'd done to it. She sighed and climbed into the shower, turning the water on.

He bent over slightly, opening the fridge to look inside it. He shifted almost nervously when he heard the shower turn on. "Eggs.. Eggs'll work.." The truth was that eggs were the only thing in the fridge besides milk and beer.

The water hurt at first, making her grit her teeth to hold back any sounds of pain. THe pain soon calmed and she was able to more comfortable resume the shower. When she finished she shut the water off and stepped out, rummaging around until she found a towel. She wrapped it around herself, refusing to put back on her dirty clothes. She hobbeled out of the bathroom and then out of the room. "Hello?" She called, stopping just outside the bedroom door.

Her hair, now that it was clean, was alot lighter and her skin was the normal peach color instead of smuged with dirt. She shifted on her feet, wincing just a little. "Do you have any clothes I can borrow until I can wash my other stuff?" She asked, watching him with dark blue eyes.

He shifted before nodding. "Yeah. Hold on." He moved quickly taking the pan off the burner and heading over to her to enter the bedroom. He tried to not look at her as he passed by. He opened the door to a closet and rummaged through it before finding some basketball shorts and a blank white tank top. "Will this work?" He asked, not turning to look at her.

She laughed a little at him as she reached for the clothes. "Yeah...those'll work just fine." She told him. She took the clothes from him and moved so he could pass by and leave the bedroom.
