Vlad had decided to go out for a walk through the caverns and he ended up right at a hole to the surface world he had found a few months ago. He pushes the rock that covers the hole up and climbs through. Making sure to hide the entrance to the caverns he looks around to decided where to go. It was almost night time so the sun wasn't too bright for him at the moment. He saw a large city that seemed to be busy so he decided to explore it a little.
As he is walking through the streets he ignores most of the people he sees. Suddenly a man who appears to be in his early twenties walks up to Vlad from behind. The man was obviously drunk but help a knife up steadily, "Give me yer money and those gems....(hic) Or I will... will kill you."
Vlad laughs slightly at the man who then grows more angry at his laughter. "Sir you have had too many drinks tonight. Why not go home before you get hurt?" Vlad says to the man.
The man rushes at Vlad in an attempt to stab him. But with the alcohol imparing his senses he goes right past him and stumbles down to the ground. "You idiot why did you trip me? Now your really.... gonna get it."
Vlad laughs again and walks to the drunk. He kneels down and places his hand on the man's head. He lowers his head to whisper into the drunk's ear, "You idiot. If you wish to be a thief dont do it while you are drunk. Too bad for you, you wont learn from this mistake." Vlad pulls a knife from his own belt and slices the thief's neck and walks away quietly as he hides the knife once more. He walks down a dark alleyway and finds a bench to sit at for a little bit.

At the entrance to the alley way there is about five or six twanging noises that sound very pretty to just about anyone. A slight breeze picked up and a jingling noise could be heard too like the kind of jingling when gypsies wear bells. A girl appeared at the entrance to the alley and stood for a moment. Her facial expressions were blank. She appeared to be very clean her skin a nice healthy peach color with a bit of a pearlecent glow to it. She blinked at the dead man a few yards ahead, before turning down the alley herself as if to avoid the dead man.

Vlad could hear some noises he had not expected to hear so he slid behind some garbage cans as he heard footsteps. He pulled out a dagger but put it away after giving it a few seconds thought. He put one hand onto a small mechanical toy that had been discarded and he placed his hand on his arm where a transmutation circle was. There was a small flash of light but then the toy had transformed and started to move down the alley way. When the toy reached the main sidewalks it detonated itself causing a large smoke cloud to release even though there was no fire at all. The smoke scared anyone who had been passing by and completely hid the entrence of the alley way.
Vlad looked for more things he could use as material for a transmutation and decided he would wait to see what was coming if he had not scared it off.

She fell over onto her knees after a moment of breathing in the smoke. She was coughing a lot. She pulled the lute off her back and set it in her lap playing three chords which caused a small cyclone of clean air to surround her. She had to place a hand on her hat to keep it from flying off. The wind soon dyed down once she could breath better. She stood up coughed a couple times and took a couple more long strides down the alley before stopping.

Vlad hears the coughing and notices it is a girl who he just smoke bombed. He slowly stands up so as not to scare her more. "I am sorry miss it is just I am not from here so I wasnt sure if another attacker was coming at me." He slowly walks over to her with his hands exposed as a way of showing he is not holding a weapon, yet he has quite a few on him still. "Did I hurt you at all?"

She looked at him, her face was expressionless. "I'm fine." She blinked up at him. She was much shorter than he, by eleven inches, her being the five feet and three inches she is. Her star blue eyes gazed at him holding no fear or pain or anything for that matter.

Vlad looks at her a few seconds, studying her, he notices there is no signs that there was smoke produced from right behind her on her clothes, hair or skin so he walks up closer to her and cant even pick up the smell of smoke. He grows slightly amused at this, "Say you arent like some of these humans of the surface world are you?"

"Human?" She spoke as if she had never heard that word spoken to her before. "I... Was once human. For a while. A day or two, I suppose." There was the tiniest hint of sorrow in the way back of the blue black pupils of her eyes, but there was no hint of it anywhere else.

Vlad walks up to her and looks her over, "Well if you arent human anymore does that mean you are a chimera or something? Because your creator is truly skilled if thats the case."

She blinked at him. "No." She spoke softly and plainly. "I have not heard of such a thing." She shifted the lute from her left hand, which she had been holding it in, to her right hand, and then from there transfered it so her back.

He slightly frowns at the remark that she had never heard of chimeras, "I guess the surface isnt a place where chimeras are too normal. If you wish I could make one, of coarse I would need to sollect the materials." His smile returns at the thought of making a chimera with a spectator watching.

She simply nodded her head. "All right." She blinked a few times at him and waited, shifting on her feet.

Vlad looks around and sees a dog, a rat, and a cat in the alley, the dog and cat are abandoned, he walks over to them and gets them together in an empty garbage can. The animals all move to a seperate spot while still in the can. Vlad then places one hand on the can and the other hand on a transmutation circle that is on his chest (it is still covered by clothes though). There is a bright flash of light and the can is gone and the three animals are replaced by one large creature that looks like it was the offspring of the three, yet it is fully grown and looks stronger than any of the materials were. "That is a chimera that has no human ingredients. What do you think of my work?"
The chimera looks around and nudges Vlad's hand as if looking for a treat or wanting some kind of affection. Vlad then scratches between its ears as a human would do with a cat or dog.

She blinks at the creature and tilts her head to one side. Her face was expressionless as always. "It's intresting." She said after a moment.
