Dusk

Flat lands of grass and small brush are all you can see in almost all directions. They roll gently along, the grass swaying in the winds. This place is the pure opposite of Dawn. Where there are mountains in the north there are flat lands in the south. There is no snow what so ever here in the winter, and the summers are extremely hot, making wolves seek shelter in dens and other places where there is shade. The prey runs well, mostly rabbits and some birds. This place is the oldest of all the clans, having been here before any of the others were. The wolves here are mostly browns and tans, light colors to blend well with grasses and brush. They have thin pelts as well, to keep them a little cooler since it doesn’t get to cold. They have powerful legs, made for running to catch prey. The sky in summer is mostly clear, there is barely little rain and prey hides from the heat of day. Summer is the hardest time of year for wolves in the south, instead of winter. There are a few rivers and streams that cut though the small hills and grasses, providing water for the wolves here. In winter they tend to sometimes freeze over, but in summer they dry up slightly. Dusk is just like Dawn. Peaceful yet dangerous.
