Flashing Lights, Alchol, and God

[Momo]

She brought her hand up to look at it, smiling. "I love it!" She told him. "It's very beautiful." She added as she stared at it, tilting her head back and forth to let the ring catch the light.

[Fox]

Fadil smiled at her joyfulness. "That's good." He said. He hoped she wouldn't ask how much it was, he wouldn't want to lie.

[Momo]

She didn't want to ask him how much it was because she was afraid of the answer. She looked up at him with a smile. "Oh wow...I'm going to have to call my parents, I havn't talked to them in a long time." She said.

[Fox]

His eyes changed from happiness to more of a remorse kind of look. He thought over the word parents. "Yeah, You'll have to call your parents and notify them." He nodded. He almost emphasized on the word 'your'. He wondered for half a second if she'd ask about his parents.

[Momo]

She watched him for a moment with a curiouse look, but something told him she shouldn't ask so she left it. "They'll be your parents to." She pointed out. "In laws and everything." She added. "They're really nice, father might not like you all to much though." She wrinkled her nose with another cute smile.

[Fox]

He just smiled and nodded his head. "I see... What is your father's occupation?" He asked out of curiosity.

[Momo]

She shifted a little and tilted her head. "Preacher." She said with a sheepish smile.

[Fox]

Fadil huffed a little at the word preacher. "I doubt he'd like me at all when he finds out what I do for a living."

[Momo]

"Yeah." she said with a nod. "He didn't like my ex very much." she sighed. "He probably hates me...because I left with out saying anything..." She added with a small shrug.

[Fox]

He reached over the table and put his hand on hers. "You shouldn't say such things. I'm sure he still loves you, because your his daughter." He said with a smile. "And I'm sure his God wouldn't like it if he hated his own daughter." He said with a huff, almost telling her that he didn't believe in God.

[Momo]

She smiled a little as he spoke, moving to twin her fingers with his. "Yeah...I guess you're right." She said, smiling. "I bet he'll be angry though." She added with a nod.

[Fox]

He nodded as well. "Yea." He paused looking away from her watching some highschool students playing tenis in the park's tenis court. "Should we get going?" He asked not looking back at her.

[Momo]

She had finished eating her food by the time he asked that question, looking up. She nodded with a smile. "Yeah, let's go." She said, gathering up the garbage.

[Fox]

He nodded, turning to face her with a smile. He gathered up his own garbage and threw it away in the near by trash can.

[Momo]

"Well...what are we going to do now?" She asked, taking his hand and shifting on her feet.
