Oni Castle

Oni Castle…dark, gloomy, frightening, large…those are just simple words to describe the sinister castle that rises from the ground on the outskirts of Maikai village. The large castle looms up into the sky, black stones that seem to shine with some sort of water…or blood most likely. The windows are dark, no light shining out at you, no welcome will come from this place. The gate is set with large wooden doors and a set of metal spikes on the inside. The path up to it is lined with skulls on stakes, some of them rather fresh too. Torches burn near the gate, ghastly green like instead of the normal yellow and orange. This is just the outside…on the inside it is even more forlorn and gloomy. The inside is cold, no warmth anywhere. No one can be seen walking around or talking. There is a lot of shadows, ready to hide anything that might jump out and attack you. Stairs lead up to whatever floor they lead to, I would suggest you don’t wander around, you could easily get lost in this place. Howls echo along the halls…only suggesting things that might be going on. They aren’t very happy howls either, filled with pain and sorrow. Oni Castle isn’t the most pleasant place to be, and I suggest you stay as far away from it as possible.
