To Ten Million Fireflies

[Momo]

She rubbed at her face a little bit to wipe away whatever tears might remain. She reached out to take his hand, smiling and sniffing a little.

[Fox]

He smiled again and grasped her hand gently. Slowly, and ever so quietly, he led her back to the town, back to her home, and back to her warm, waiting bed. "You should sleep now." He nodded carefully.

[Momo]

She looked around her room and sighed with a small nod. "Yeah...probably." She said, moving to take her shoes off. "Will I see you in the morning?" She asked, crawling into the bed.

[Fox]

He only nodded to answer her question. At that, he turned and wandered out her door and down the hall to the guest room he was given.

[Momo]

she woke pretty early the next morning, yawning and rubbing her eyes as she sat up. She was still tired from her outing last night but was unable to sleep any longer. She looked around her room before throwing the blankets off and putting her feet over the side of the bed.

[Fox]

Hotaru had been awake for quite a while now. He was still in the guest room; staring out the window as people walked by in the street.

[Momo]

She dressed and walked down the hall to the bathroom to brush her hair and teeth before she left to go find Hotaru. When he wasn't in the living room she went back to the guest room and knocked lightly, waiting for an answer.
